Transmisión espacial de precios desde el mercado internacional al mercado mexicano de leche

Испанский язык; кастильский. Resumen. México importa aproximadamente el 25% de la leche consumida en el país, dicha cantidad es comparable al 30% de la producción nacional. Debido a esto, el precio al productor mexicano podría estar influenciado por el precio internacional de la leche. Considerando lo anterior, el objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la transmisión de precios entre el mercado internacional y el mercado mexicano de leche en los ámbitos nacional, regional (Jalisco) y municipal (Chicontepec, Veracruz). Para ello, se determinó la estacionariedad de las series con la prueba aumentada de Dickey-Fuller, se examinó la cointegración con la prueba de Johansen, se estimó un modelo de corrección de errores y un modelo asimétrico de corrección de errores. Los resultados indican que los precios de leche al productor en México están cointegrados con los precios de Oceanía, la Unión Europea y Estados Unidos, siendo los últimos los que tienen mayores efectos en el precio al productor en México y que se transmiten al mercado mexicano de forma simétrica. Además, se encontró que la velocidad de ajuste del precio al productor ante desviaciones del equilibrio es mayor para el ámbito regional seguido del nacional y municipal. Lo que implica que las variaciones en el precio internacional afectan de forma diferente a los productores de leche de México.

Английский. Abstract. Mexico imports approximately 25% of the milk consumed in the country, this quantity is comparable to 30% of domestic production. Because of this, the Mexican producer price might be influenced by the international milk price. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to analyze price transmission between the international market and the Mexican milk market in the national, regional (Jalisco), and municipal (Chicontepec, Veracruz) scope. For this, stationarity of the series was determined using the Augmented Dickey-Fuller test, cointegration was examined using the Johansen test, and an error correction model and an asymmetric error correction model were estimated. The results indicate that milk producer prices in Mexico are cointegrated with the Oceania, the European Union, and the United States prices, being the latter the ones that have the greatest effects on the producer price in Mexico and are transmitted in a symmetric way to the Mexican market. Besides, it was found that the speed of adjustment of the producer price in the event of deviations from equilibrium is superior for the regional scope, followed by the national and the municipal scope. Meaning that the variations of the international price affect the Mexican milk producers in a different way.
