Incidencia de la implementación de ciclobandas, por medio del estudio de la inmisión de pm10 en la intersección de la carrera 50 con avenida Esperanza en Bogotá D.C. | Incidence of the implementation of bicycle lanes, by means of the study of the inmission of pm10 in the intersection of the carrera 50 with avenida Esperanza in Bogotá D.C.

La ciclobanda de la carrera 50 se encuentra ubicada en la localidad de Teusaquillo y el sector de estudio está en intersección con la avenida Esperanza. Teniendo como precedente que en la ciudad de Bogotá no se han realizado estudios sobre el impacto en la calidad del aire y la movilidad que se da después de la puesta en marcha de proyectos de ciclo-infraestructura, con este proyecto se realiza una aproximación sobre los efectos que se presentan en el ámbito ambiental y social. Para ello este trabajo, a través de la evaluación de la calidad del aire y la determinación de la emisión de fuentes móviles de PM10 junto con las mediciones meteorológicas, pretende determinar la conveniencia de la ciclobanda, para lo cual se reúnen en tres (3) fases la metodología y los resultados. Se obtiene entonces que este bicicarril es el 0.8% de la ciclo-infraestructura total, que las concentraciones de PM10 a condiciones de referencia son menores a 89 μg/m3 para datos horarios cumpliendo el límite máximo permitido de 100 μg/m3, que el modelo IVE en un escenario simulado muestra que las emisiones de PM10 cuando hay bicicarril son mayores hasta 1.92 veces que cuando no lo hay, que la concentración de la estación de tráfico puede ser hasta dos (2) veces mayor que la estación de fondo urbana, que la emisión es inversamente proporcional a la velocidad y directamente proporcional al número de vehículos, y que la dirección y la velocidad del viento son factores importantes en la distribución del contaminante; evidenciando de esta forma que la implementación de la ciclobanda podría generar niveles más elevados de emisión e inmisión de PM10 y a su vez afecta la movilidad del lugar por la reducción de los carriles que sirven para el tránsito del parque automotor.

The bicycle lane of carrera 50 is located in Teusaquillo and the study sector is at the intersection with avenida Esperanza. Taking as a precedent that in the city of Bogotá there have been no studies on the impact on air quality and mobility that occurs after the implementation of cycle-infrastructure projects, with this project an approximation is made about the effects that occur in the environmental and social field. For this work, through the evaluation of the air quality and the determination of the emission of fleet sources of PM10 together with the meteorological measurements, intends to determine the convenience of the bicycle lane, for which the methodology and the results are gathered in three (3) phases. Then it is obtained that this bicycle lane is 0.8% of the total cycle-infrastructure, that the PM10 concentrations at reference conditions are lower than 89 μg/m3 for hourly data complying with the maximum allowed limit of 100 μg/m3, that the IVE model in a simulated scenario shows that the emissions of PM10 when there is bicycle lane is greater up to 1.92 times than when there is not, that the concentration of the traffic station can be up to two (2) times greater than the urban station, that the emission is inversely proportional to the speed and directly proportional to the number of vehicles, and that the direction and wind speed are important factors in the distribution of the pollutant; evidencing in this way that the implementation of the bicycle lane could generate higher levels of PM10 emission and immission and in turn affects the mobility of the place by reducing the lanes that serve for the transit of the vehicle fleet.
