Kartiranje zaštićenih parkova u Novom Sadu | Mapping of protected parks in Novi Sad

The paper presents the mapping of four parks on the territory of Novi Sad that are protected as natural monuments. These are: Danube Park, Futoški Park, Kamenički Park, and the Park of the Institute in Sremska Kamenica. The mapping was performed in the programming language R (version 4.1.0) and its interface RStudio (1.2.1335), using the "leaflet" package (version 2.0.4.1). Geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) for each park were used as input data for producing the maps. The obtained maps show the boundaries of protected parks, using basic and advanced functions within the "leaflet" package. The “leaflet” is an open-source package which allows creating the maps that are interactive, i.e. whose scale can be easily modified. In addition to mapping, the paper presents a brief description of each protected park. The procedure applied in this paper can be used for different mapping procedures in the area of management of natural landscapes, including mapping in different areas of agriculture.
