Abstract: This multilingual directory contains a collection of nutrition educational materials to be used for both in-school and out-of-school worldwide education. This collection is part of the Unesco Resource Pack for Nutrition Teaching-Learning. Arrangement is by in-school and out-of-school character, and sub-divided by country of origin and specific subjects. Coverage includes: primary and secondary school curriculum material and textbooks; student activities and games; stories, workbooks, visual aids, and teacher training; school meals; school health and nutrition programs; community workers training and implementation of nutrition education programs; groups with special needs; audio-visual aids; population education; home and school gardens; project management and evaluation; food composition tables and food preparation/preservation; recipes; technical food and nutrition training; assessment of nutritional status and growth monitoring; diarrhea and child development; bibliographies and catalogs; and newsletters and periodicals. Illustrations are included. The text is written in English, French, Spanish, and Arabic languages.
