The purpose of this book is to help people develop local nutrition partnerships for improving children's access to healthy foods and nutrition education. The content is in five components: 1) ideas for getting the most out of nutrition partnerships, 2) ideas for educating children and adults about food choices, 3) ideas for assuring children's access to healthy foods, 4) ideas for supporting lifelong healthy choices, and 5) ideas and resources for sustaining partnerships to continually improve local nutrition education and services.
