The National Agricultural Library houses a small collection of manuscripts inclusive of account books, broadsides, diaries, business records of private agriculturally related organizations, letters, personal papers, memoirs, photographs, reminiscences, record books and other historical items available in microform copy, the originals of which are located in other depositories.
Показать больше [+] Меньше [-]This guide has been prepared to lead the research to the manuscript holdings and to provide, in fairly general terms, the nation and scope of each entry. Entries are arranged alphabetically by name of creator, collector, or title. Each entry has been given a number which is used in the index. In general uniform entries include caption giving the name of the collector, dates of birth and death or establishment or founding, identification of form of material such as diary, papers, record book, etc., with inclusive dates. Following the caption is a descriptive entry itself ranging in length from one line to about a page.
