Fecal microbial flora in Seventh Day Adventist populations and control subjects

Methods and selected findings are reported from a comparison of two dietary subgroups in a Seventh Day Adventist population and comparison of two Adventist diet groups with non Adventists. Fecal microbial flora were analyzed, and numerous tables show the statistical data. Bacteriological analyses were performed on Adventist subjects with the greatest possible differences in lifetime consumption of meat because an association between high fat and animal protein content in the diet has been detected in colon cancer.
