Extract: The primary objective of this study was to provide basic information concerning lending practices used by commercial banks in the management of yield, risk and liquidity of farm loans. data were obtained by surveying 103 commercial banks located throughout the state. banks placed more emphasis on consumer and industrial loans than on farm loans becuase of higher yields. thus, it seems that commerical banks should evaluate present farm loan policies to make yields more competitive with other loans.
