Dermacentor variabilis, D. andersoni, evidence of (1) pheromone which enables sexually excited males to locate female gonopore, (2) species-specific copulation-eliciting pheromone (possibly same compound) which excites male to form and implant its spermatophore into vulva of conspecific female, and (3) female gonopore as release site for these sexual stimulants
