Revision of the ASAE standard D245.4: moisture relationships of grains

ASAE Data D245.4 has been revised either in content or editorially seven times since it was first approved in 1948. The recent developments in moisture relationships of agricultural and food products called for a rigorous revision of the standard. The following is a description of changes to this standard made in its eighth revision with suggestion and input from members of the FPE 701: Physical Properties of Agricultural Products Committee and approval of other ASAE standard committees. The standard D245.4 is published by the ASAE (ASAE, 1996).
