Herich, Ivan
The paper deals with basic forest production characteristics development at three time levels. The database includes two sampling sets of forest management plans (FMP) with the same effect and validity period. The analysis focuses in particular on quantification and statistical comparison of the real and model production characteristics development for dominant tree species (spruce, beech) in time levels. We analysed the following parameters of the main forest: mean height, mean diameter, absolute yield class. The comparison results show significant statistical difference between average, real and model production characteristics in favour of the real parameters. The differences detected within 20-years period got the following awerage values: for the mean height of beech 2.7 m (12.4%), spruce 1.9 m (8.1%) and for the mean diameter of beech 2.4 cm (9.1%), spruce 2.1 cm (7.0%). It is applied in the whole time interval and confirmed by development of the average real and model production characteristics in age classes.Logic implication of this trend is improvement of average absolute yield classes in the research period.
