Good cereal makes the best breakfast, and a good cereal is one with at least three grams of dietary fiber. Most high-fiber cereals are high in insoluble fiber. Cereals high in soluble fiber are made from oats or psyllium. Soluble fiber is recommended for people who need to lower their serum cholesterol. A food composition table is included which shows calorie content, fiber content, and sugar content.
