Human and animal fat cell size determination using an image analyzing computer

Extract: An automatization of the fat cell's morphological parameters determination with an image analyzing computer is proposed. The results obtained with this technique are compared to results obtained from the usual methods. Combined with frozen cut slices of adipose tissue, this automatized determination of fat cell size is well adapted for the large number of samples necessary for a specialized hospital service.
