Management of green mould (Trichoderma Harzianum) with fungicide and botanical

Green mould caused by Trichodenna harzianum is Illost common and destructive disease in mushroom cultivation which reduce yield significantly. It was found to occur at every farm and its incidence varies from 1.5 to 3.8 per cent. Among the fungicide tested against green mould (T harzianum) pathogen Topsin M-70 (75 ppm) was found best with less affecting the growth of A bisporus, in vitro condition. Further, combination of Topsin M-70 + Blitox-50 each at 50 ppm was found best for inhibiting the growth of T. harzianum, followed by Bavistiu 50 WP + Blitox-50 (each at 100 ppm). In case of botanicals, Garlic cxtract (10 g/100 ml) gave best rcsulls for inhibiting the growth of T. harziallwn followed by Garlic extract (7.5 g/100 ml) and Azadiractin (0.75 ml/100 ml), as both the treatments have not inhibited the growth of A. bisporus.
