Phenylethanoid and lignan-iridoid complex glycosides from roots of Buddleja davidii

An extract of the roots of Buddleja davidii gave 13 phenylethanoid glycosides and five iridoid glycosides. Four new iridoids were composed of ajugol and lignan. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated from chemical and spectroscopic evidence.
