Obesity is considered a contributing factor in a number of health problems. Scientists are studying different methods to assess the quality rather than the quantity of body mass. Pros, cons, and procedures to measure body fat are discussed in this article. These methods include the water buoyancy test, biological impedance analysis, the caliper skin fold test and the infrared test.
