The effect of feeding a semipurified diet to chickens infected with coccidia

Eimeria spp.-infected broiler chicks fed semipurified diet vs. corn-soybean meal, composition of diets, effect of diets on mortality rate, lesion score, physiological parameters, intestinal food passage time, and number of oocysts in feces, effect of addition of dietary selenium or of different levels of corn-soybean meal to semipurified diet in E. tenella-infected chicks, results show that semipurified diet ameliorates infection with cecal parasite E. tenella but not small intestinal Eimeria spp.
