The present study evaluates occupation of Caiman crocodilus fuscus (babilla) at artificial lagoons (jagüeyes) constructed as a watering place for cattle. These water bodies are located on the coastal anthropic savannah landscape matrix in the Colombian Caribbean, in the Sucre department, belonging to the tropical dry forest with high environmental deterioration.
