Chemical composition of Melaleuca quinquenervia (Cav.) S.T. Blake leaf oil from India

The essential oil isolated by hydrodistillation from the leaves of Melaleuca quinquenervia was analyzed by GC/MS. The chemotype identified bad a high 1,8-cineole (48%) content in addition to nerolidol (9%) and viridiflorol (5%).
