Formation of the microbiota of calves' rumen in the dairy period when a mixture essential oils of coriander and fennel is introduced into the diet | Формирование микробиоты рубца телят в молочном периоде при введении в рацион смеси эфирных масел кориандра и фенхеля

Английский. As known, essential oils (EOs) can influence the metabolism and growth of bacteria. The research aims are to develop a complex emulsion feed additive based on phytogens of essential oil-bearing crops - fennel and coriander - and to evaluate their effect on the microbiota formation in preweaning Black-and-White calves. In the experimental groups, calves from 3 weeks of age were fed with a calf milk replacer added with a feed complex based on fennel and coriander EOs as a mixture of emulsions (10 mL per one head). Every10 mL of emulsion contained 1 mL of EO. The volume ratio of fennel and coriander EO emulsions administered to animals of the experimental groups was as follows: in group I – 7:3; in II - 1:1; in III - 3:7. The control group of young animals was fed with the basic diet only. In the course of the research, there was a tendency to increase the live weight in calves from the experimental groups under the influence of the introduced additives. The largest live weight gain over the entire study period was in animals of experimental group III (2.7%) compared with the control group. In experimental groups I and II, positive gain dynamics by 1.4 and 2%, respectively were observed relative to the indicators of the control group. The average daily weight gain in experimental groups II and III was much higher by 14.6 and 18.6% (P less than 0.05) than in the control group. The results of the T-RFLP analysis showed that a significant increase in the cellulolytic bacteria count (P less than or equal to 0.05) in the rumen of calves of the experimental groups from the age of 2 months compared with the young animals of the control group was observed. The findings indicate that the use of feed complexes in the emulsion form, comprising coriander and fennel EOs, has an effect on the rumen microbiome similar to probiotic preparations and contributes to increase the young animal performance.

Русский. Как известно, эфирные масла (ЭМ) могут влиять на метаболизм и рост бактерий. Цели исследования - разработка комплексной кормовой добавки в виде эмульсий на основе фитогенов эфиромасличных культур фенхеля обыкновенного и кориандра посевного и оценка их влияния на формирование микробиоты у телят черно-пестрой породы в молочном периоде. В опытных группах телятам с 3-недельного возраста в заменитель цельного молока вводили кормовой комплекс на основе ЭМ фенхеля и кориандра в виде смеси эмульсий (по 10 мл на 1 голову). В 10 мл эмульсии содержится 1 мл ЭМ. Соотношение по объему эмульсий ЭМ фенхеля и кориандра, вводимых животным опытных групп, было следующим: в I группе - 7:3; во II - 1:1; в III - 3:7. Контрольная группа молодняка получала основной рацион. В ходе исследований наблюдалась тенденция к увеличению живой массы у телят из опытных групп под воздействием введенных добавок. Наибольший прирост живой массы за весь период исследования был у животных III опытной группы (2,7%) по сравнению с контрольной группой. В I и II опытных группах наблюдалась положительная динамика по приростам на 1,4 и 2% соответственно относительно показателей контрольной группы. Среднесуточный прирост во II и III опытных группах достоверно был выше на 14,6 и 18,6% (P меньше 0,05), чем в контроле. Результаты проведенного T-RFLP-анализа показали, что в рубце телят опытных групп с 2-месячного возраста наблюдалось значительное повышение числа целлюлозолитических бактерий (P не более 0,05) по сравнению с молодняком из контрольной группы. Полученные данные свидетельствуют, что применение кормовых комплексов в виде эмульсий, включающих ЭМ кориандра и фенхеля, оказывает влияние на микробиом рубца аналогично препаратам пробиотической направленности и способствует повышению продуктивности молодняка.
