Actualización del inventario de la colección viva del Jardín Botánico de Bogotá a partir del software Field Maps | Updating of the inventory of the living collection of the Botanical Garden of Bogotá using the Field Maps software

El Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis (JBB) cuenta con un inventario de plantas representado por 185 familias botánicas, 706 géneros y 1413 especies distribuidas en 38 zonas. En el presente trabajo se realizó la actualización del inventario de la colección viva del JBB a partir del software Field Maps de ArcGis de cuatro de las zonas más representativas a nivel de área. Las cuatro zonas inventariadas fueron los bosques andinos con énfasis en Lauráceas, Quinas y Robles, junto con el bosque subandino Mora-Osejo. El total de individuos inventariados fue de 1901, de los cuales 1603 individuos se encuentran vivos en la colección viva (84%) y 298 individuos se encontraron muertos (16%). Por otro lado, a todos los individuos inventariados se le registraron datos respecto a su estado fitosanitario, estado fenológico, presencia o ausencia de etiquetado y señalética, además de observaciones de ser necesario.

The Botanical Garden of Bogota José Celestino Mutis (JBB) has a plant inventory represented by 185 botanical families, 706 genera and 1413 species distributed in 38 zones. In the present work, the inventory of the living collection of the JBB was updated using ArcGis Field Maps software in four of the most representative zones at the area level. The four inventoried zones were the Andean forests with emphasis on Lauraceae, Quinas and Robles, with the sub-Andean Mora-Osejo Forest. The total number of individuals inventoried was 1901, which 1603 individuals were found alive in the living collection (84%) and 298 individuals were found dead (16%). On the other hand, all the individuals inventoried were recorded with their phytosanitary status, phenological state, presence or absence of labeling and signage, as well as observations if necessary.
