Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Nicaragua durante el 2011, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como innovación, tecnología, control de calidad, inocuidad, buenas prácticas agrícolas, asistencia técnica, cooperación entre los sectores público y privado y las cadenas de valor del maíz, frijol, café, miel, cacao, raíces, tubérculos, semillas y granos básicos.
