Se pretende hacer una búsqueda de información secundaria, así como tomar muestras de carácter primario para mostrar un resultado de tipo descriptivo y/o analítico por medio de encuestas realizadas a la población que se podría ver afectada dentro del municipio, de acuerdo con esto se pretende dar un diagnóstico por medio de matrices y diagramas de tortas que brinde un resultado de la presente investigación; se tomaron varias herramientas para el desarrollo del proyecto, tales como búsquedas dentro de las bases de datos abiertas al público por parte del ministerio de medio ambiente, la corporación autónoma regional del Tolima, la alcaldía, los distintos planes de desarrollo, los informes IRCA para calidad del agua de los últimos años para el municipio, el Sivicap y distintos proyectos de investigación cuantitativa-cualitativa dentro de instituciones de educación superior en la región, del municipio, así como fuera de él.

It is intended to carry out a search for secondary information, as well as to take samples of a primary nature to show a descriptive and/or analytical result through surveys carried out on the population that could be affected within the municipality, according to this it is intended give a diagnosis by means of matrices and cake diagrams that provide a result of the present investigation; Various tools were taken for the development of the project, such as searches within the databases open to the public by the Ministry of the Environment, the Tolima Regional Autonomous Corporation, the Mayor's Office, the different development plans, the IRCA reports for water quality in recent years for the municipality, the Sivicap and different quantitative-qualitative research projects within higher education institutions in the region, the municipality, as well as outside it.
