Hydrologie, sédimentaire et géochimie de l'oued Tinja (Tunisie septentrionale | Hydrology, sedimentology and geochemistry of the wadi Tinja (Northern Tunisia) | الحركة المائية, الترسبات و جيوكيمياء وادي تينجة ( شمال تونس)

L'oued Tinja relie la garaet Ichkeul à la lagune de Bizerte laquelle communique avec la mer Méditerranée par un long goulet. Les eaux de cet oued dépendent à la fois des apports saisonniers des eaux marine et douce et présente de ce fait, des salinités très fluctuantes. L'important réseau hydrographique associé au plan d'eau de l'Ichkeul (avec un bassin versant très important d'environ 2080 km2) est sujet à de nombreux aménagements hydrauliques, notamment la construction de barrages de retenues d'eau douce. Ces derniers sont susceptibles de perturber les caractéristiques hydrologiques, sédimentologiques et géochimiques du système laguno-lacustre (lagune de Bizerte et garaet Ichkeul) et d'entamer par voie de conséquence sa diversité et sa richesse biologique. L'oued Tinja, exutoire naturel de la garaet Ichkeul représente la principale source d'apports liquides (418 106 m3), solides (28 103 tonnes) et en éléments nutritifs (74, 954, 92 et 69 tonnes respectivement de nitrite, nitrate, ammonium et phosphate) à la lagune de Bizerte. Cette dernière, reçoit des concentrations en métaux lourds à partir des sédiments superficiels de l'oued Tinja, qui risquent de provoquer des perturbations plus ou moins importantes, néfastes et irréversibles sur la faune et la flore aquatique de ce plan d’eau, par conséquent sur l’ensemble de l’équilibre écobiologique.

The wadi Tinja connects the garaet Ichkeul to the lagoon of Bizerte which is connected to the Mediterranean Sea by a long gullet. The water of this wadi is depending at the same time on the seasonal contributions of marine and fresh waters and has very fluctuating salinities. The important hydrographical network associated with the Ichkeul stretch of water (which the pouring pool surface equals to 2080 km2) are subject to many hydraulic installations, in particular the construction of barriers of fresh water reserves. These latter are likely to disturb the hydrological, sedimentological and geochemical characteristics of the lagoon - lake system (lagoon of Bizerte and garaet Ichkeul) and consequently to damage its diversity and its biological richness. Tinja wadi, which is the garaet Ichkeul outlet represents the principal source of liquid contributions (418 106 m3), solids (28 103 tons) and in nutritive elements (74, 954, 92 and 69 tons respectively of nitrite, nitrates, ammonium and phosphate) to the lagoon of Bizerte. The latter, receives concentrations in heavy metals from the surface sediments of Tinja wadi, which are likely to cause more or less important disturbances, harmful and irreversible on the fauna and the watery flora of this stretch of water, and consequently on the whole of balance ecobiologic.

يربط واد تينجة بحيرة إشكل ببحيرة بنزرت و تتّصل هذه الأخيرة بالبحر الأبيض المتوسط عبر قناة طويلة. و تتأثر مياه هذا الوادي بمختلف الإمدادات الفصلية العابرة له من مياه عذبة و مالحة ممّا يفسرالتأرجح الكبير في درجة ملوحة مياهه. كانت الشبكة المائية السطحية المرتبطة ببحيرة إشكل (ذات حوض تجميعي ضخم في حدود2080 كم2) موضوع العديد من المنشآت المائية، كبناء السدود و الأحواض التجميعية للمياه العذبة. مختلف هذه الأشغال تساهم في تغيير الخصائص المائية و الترسبية و الجيوكيميائية لمنظومة بحيرتي بنزرت و إشكل ممّا يؤثر في تنوّع وثراء خصائصهما البيولوجية. يمثل واد تينجة المصّب الطبيعي لبحيرة إشكل إذ يُعدّ أهم مصدر للمياه (418 106 م3) والمواد الصلبة (28 103 طن) والعناصر الغذائية (92, 954, 74 و 69 طن تباعا من نيتريت, نيترات, امونيوم و فسفاط) لبحيرة بنزرت. كما تتلّقى بحيرة بنزرت العديد من المعادن الثقيلة من خلال الترسبات السطحية لواد تينجة والتي من شأنها أن تتسبّب في اضطرابات شديدة، مضرّة على النباتات و الحيوانات المائية و على توازن المنظومة البيئية لهذه البحيرة. .
