Recalling: (i) Decision IOC-XXVII/Dec.5.1.2 to further develop a proposal for the Second International Indian Ocean Expedition (IIOE-2), (ii) Resolution EC-XLVII-1 which, inter alia, entrusted the Scientific Committee on Ocean Research (SCOR) to develop the science plan for the IIOE-2 jointly with IOC and the Indian Ocean Global Ocean Observing System (IOGOOS)
