Diagnóstico operacional de las plantas de tratamiento de agua potable (PTAP) en el área urbana y rural del municipio de Acevedo (Huila).

El tratamiento de convertir el agua cruda a potable es de vital importancia para la salud humana, un buen tratamiento constituye una salud excelente; diferente a esto, el consumo de agua cruda puede atraer graves enfermedades. Con el fin de garantizar la calidad del agua a los habitantes de las zona urbanas y rurales del municipio de Acevedo, se propone realizar un diagnóstico operacional de las plantas de tratamiento de agua potable (PTAP) y así conocer el grado de potabilización en las aguas de salida. Se trabajó con la PTAP que abastece al área urbana de Acevedo y con 4 PTAP rurales (La Danta, Bolívar, La Victoria - La Unión - Cristo Rey, La Marimba). Para ellos se realizó un levantamiento de línea base recolectando información por medio de encuestas dirigidas a los operarios y suscriptores, Seguidamente se obtuvieron datos significativos del (Índice de Riego de la Calidad de Agua) IRCA de los años 2016, 2017 y 2018, dichos datos fueron suministrados por la secretaria de salud municipal y departamental del Huila, encontrando que el resultado de los IRCA en el área urbana es bueno, pero para el área rural es malo. Se visitaron cada una de las PTAP, logrando obtener información del estado estructural y operativa; posteriormente en las visitas realizadas se encontraron problemas como la falta de químicos, personal no idóneo, daños, sistemas alternos de potabilización y falta de equipos; con la información recolectada se propusieron soluciones y medidas correctivas para garantizar la potabilización del agua.

Each of the PTAPs were visited, managing to obtain information on the structural and operational status; Later in the visits, problems were found, such as the lack of chemicals, unsuitable personnel, damage, alternative drinking water systems and lack of equipment; With the information collected, solutions and corrective measures were proposed to guarantee the purification of water.
