Английский. The methodology to simplify the freezing-thawing and implantation method of bovine embryos is described. For freezing, a buffer solution (Dulbecco) with ethylene glycol as cryoprotectant is used, plus the addition of bovine serum albumin at 4% weight/volume. Defrosting is done 5 seconds in the air and then in a water bath at 25ºC for 20 seconds. The implantation is immediately carried out with extreme delicacy given the fragility of the biological material. The authors report 8 pregnancies out of 17 embryos implanted with this system, considering it satisfactory but perfectible.

Para el congelado se utiliza una solución bufferada (Dulbecco) con Etilenglicol como crioprotector, más el añadido de seroalbumina bovina al 4% peso/volumen. La descongelación se realiza 5 segundos al aire y luego en baño maría a 25ºC durante 20 segundos. La implantación se realiza inmediatamente con suma delicadeza dada la fragilidad del material biólogico. Los autores reportan 8 preñeces de 17 embriones implantados con este sistema, considerándolo como satisfactorio pero perfectible.
