Electronic nose : a promising tool for landfill odour monitoring

The paper briefly presents the advantages and drawbacks of the use of electronic noses to monitor continuously the odours generated by a landfill area. It stresses more particularly on the remaining obstacles to surmount before using the technique on a routine level.
