Efecto de Trichoderma en el control de botrytis en el cultivo de rosa (Rosa sp.), Cantón Espejo, Provincia del Carchi 2019

SUMMARY The present research work was developed in order to evaluate the use of the fungus Trichoderma harziatum L for the control of Botrytis in the flower companies of the province of Carchi. For this purpose, a literature review was made on the fungus disease that attacks flowers, such as Botrytis and its biological control with the fungus Trichoderma harziatum L. Subsequently the respective surveys were carried out to the technicians who manage the different flower companies in the province of Carchi, in order to have knowledge about the use of the antagonistic fungus Trichoderma. In the surveys the use of the fungus Trichoderma as a biological control of the fungus disease Botrytis was evaluated, if there are subsequent benefits and, if it is convenient to use it instead of chemical control to preserve the environment. For the proper management of the Trichoderma fungus in the floriculture companies, it is necessary to take into account the training on the benefits that it has, as well as the optimum conditions of humidity and temperature, the period of application for its multiplication and its costs in relation to the control chemical. RESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolló con el fin de evaluar el uso del hongo Trichoderma harziatum L para el control de Botrytis en las empresas florícolas de la provincia del Carchi. Para el efecto se hizo una revisión bibliográfica sobre la enfermedad fungosa que ataca a las rosas como es la Botrytis y su control biológico con el hongo Trichoderma harziatum. L. Posteriormente se hizo las respectivas encuestas a los técnicos que manejan las diferentes empresas florícolas en la provincia del Carchi, con el fin de tener conocimiento sobre el uso del hongo antagónico Trichoderma. En las encuestas se evaluaron el uso del hongo Trichoderma como control biológico de la enfermedad fungosa Botrytis, si existe beneficios posteriores y, si es conveniente su utilización en vez del control químico como para preservar el medio ambiente. Para el manejo adecuado del hongo Trichoderma en las empresas floricultoras, es necesario tomar en cuenta la capacitación sobre los beneficios que posee, así como también las condiciones óptimas de humedad y temperatura, el período de aplicación para su multiplicación y sus costos en relación al control químico.
