Proficiency Test 05/2022 : Ground and natural water metal analyses

Proftest SYKE carried out the proficiency test (PT) for analysis of metals in ground and natural waters in April-May 2022. The measurands were: Al, As, B, Ba, Be, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, K, Mg, Mn, Mo, Na, Ni, Pb, S, Sb, Se, Sn, Sr, Ti, Tl, U, V, and Zn. In total, there were 15 participants in the PT. Either the metrologically traceable concentration, the calculated concentration or the robust mean or the mean or the median of the results reported by the participants was used as the assigned value for the measurands. The performance of the participants was evaluated by using z and En scores. In this PT 84 % of the results were satisfactory when total deviation of 10–35 % for the measurands was accepted from the assigned value. The beryllium results of the synthetic sample were evaluated by using En scores and all results were satisfactory. Warm thanks to all participants in this proficiency test! Pätevyyskoe 05/2022: Pohja- ja luonnonvesien metallimääritykset Proftest SYKE järjesti pätevyyskokeen metallimäärityksiä tekeville laboratorioille huhti-toukokuussa 2022. Pätevyyskokeessa määritettiin synteettisestä näytteestä sekä pohja- ja luonnonvesinäytteistä testisuureet Al, As, B, Ba, Be, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, K, Mg, Mn, Mo, Na, Ni, Pb, S, Sb, Se, Sn, Sr, Ti, Tl, U, V ja Zn. Pätevyyskokeessa oli yhteensä 15 osallistujaa. Testisuureiden vertailuarvoina käytettiin joko metrologisesti jäljitettävää pitoisuutta, laskennallista pitoisuutta tai osallistujien ilmoittamien tulosten robustia keskiarvoa, keskiarvoa tai mediaania. Osallistujien pätevyyden arviointi tehtiin z- ja En-arvojen avulla. Koko tulosaineistossa oli z-arvoilla arvioituna 84 % hyväksyttäviä tuloksia, kun vertailuarvosta sallittiin 10–35 %:n poikkeama. Synteettisen näytteen berylliumin tulokset arvioitiin käyttäen Enarvoja ja kaikki tulokset olivat hyväksyttäviä. Kiitos pätevyyskokeen osallistujille!
