Английский. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to comment on this report on the human development of Nicaragua's Caribbean. It is a satisfaction to comment on this publication, because it is a very valuable contribution to the development of our Autonomous Regions, it synthesizes at the same time what we feel about our Caribbean Coast and opens the doors to a vision of the future. This is a great effort to value our very particular Region; to focus in a very special way what happens in the RAAN and the RAAS; to analyze our territory and its population in a particular way. This allows us to recognize ourselves in that 10% of the Nicaraguan population that has its own history, its own past, its own legend.

Es una satisfacción comentar esta publicación, porque siendo un aporte muy valioso para el desarrollo de nuestras Regiones Autónomas, sintetiza a la vez lo que sentimos los costeños sobre nuestra Costa Caribe y nos abre las puertas a una visión de futuro. Este es un gran esfuerzo por valorar nuestra Región tan particular; por enfocar de manera muy especial lo que en la RAAN y la RAAS sucede; por anal izar nuestro territorio y su población de manera particular. Esto permite que nos reconozcamos en ese 10% de la población nicaragüense que tiene su propia historia, su propio pasado, su propia leyenda.
