SCS206 Potência: high-yield and anthracnose-resistant black bean cultivar with superior adaptability and stability for Southern Brazil

SCS206 Potência is a common black bean cultivar developed by the Agricultural Research and Rural Extension Company of Santa Catarina (EPAGRI). This cultivar has excellent grain yield and high adaptability and stability associated with improved plant health, especially moderate resistance to anthracnose (Colletotrichum lindemuthianum). Its plants are semierect and have an indeterminate growth habit, as they are adapted to mechanical harvesting.
