Morphological characteristics of the adolescent pheasant blood modulated with the exposure to natural adaptogen
L. I. Galuzina | M. I. Garashchuk
The study of the metabolic profile of farming pheasants exposed to the natural adaptogen «Humilid» that contains biologically active feed additive was carried out bird private farm. The results of present study have shown that treatment with «Humilid» induce positive dynamics in the bird growth and stimulate development of pheasants since 1st up to 35th days of age. According to the obtained results there was observed an increase in the number of erythrocytes and hemoglobin content that evidence the modulation of morphological parameters of the pheasant blood during first 7 weeks the life. The detected hemoglobin content in blood of pheasants exposed to feed additive «Humilid» group was statistically higher for 7.1% (p<0.001) in compare to the control group. Similar to hemoglobin growth there was observed an increase in erythrocyte number in pheasant blood caused «Humilid» while 21 days treatment. The increase in hemoglobin content was equal 8.6% (р˂0.05) in compare with control group. Furthermore, the results of present study evidence that hemoglobin growth could increase the capacity of the blood oxygen absorbance and consequently provide the most higher level of synthetic processes in the various tissues of the pheasants. Therefore, the application «Humilid» as a feed additive for farming pheasants health maintenance is accompanied by the resistance strengthening through the its adaptogenic, immunostimulatory and growth-stimulating features this bioactive mixture. «Humilid» and similar feed additives is potent to develop a positive effect on the dynamics of growth and development of farming pheasants through the plural effect to normalize the body weight and blood physiological parameters.
