Matéria orgânica e produção de alface e cebolinha em argissolo vermelho com aplicação de fertilizantes alternativos | Organic matter and production lettuce and chive ultisol in red with fertilizers application of alternative

A utilização de fontes alternativas como fertilizantes orgânicos têm aumentado consideravelmente na última década, visando minimizar a utilização de fertilização mineral. Tendo em vista que a adição de resíduo orgânico pode afetar a dinâmica da matéria orgânica do solo (MOS) e a produtividade de culturas, este trabalho teve como objetivos principais avaliar o impacto de diferentes fontes de substâncias húmicas solúveis (SHs) na distribuição dos compartimentos químicos e na sua composição química em Argissolo, bem como avaliar o efeito na produtividade de hortaliças. No estudo 1 foram avaliados a composição química e distribuição de ácidos húmicos (AH), ácidos fúlvicos (AF) e humina, teor de MOS e a distribuição dos metais Cu, Fe, Cr, Mn e Zn em compartimentos da MOS após adição de composto orgânico de dejetos de suínos na forma neutra (T2), na forma ácida (T3) e em solo sem adição (T1). As SHs foram quantificadas e sua composição química foi determinada por espectroscopia de FTIR. A adição de composto orgânico não alterou o teor de C do solo, porém afetou a distribuição da MOS. Nos três tratamentos CSHs aumentou até os 52 dias, sendo que T2 e T3 apresentaram os maiores valores. Comportamento semelhante foi observado para CAF e CAH. Ao final do experimento a distribuição das frações húmicas não diferiu entre tratamentos. A adição de composto não afetou a concentração total dos metais bem como sua concentração nas frações CSH e CHCl .O estudo 2 foi realizado em casa de vegetação, utilizando-se SHs de leonardita em diferentes tratamentos, com e sem aplicação de adubação mineral (NPK) nas culturas de alface e cebolinha ao longo de 48 dias. Foram avaliados número de folhas, diâmetro e altura de plantas, comprimento de raiz e massa seca e fresca da raiz e parte aérea nas plantas. No solo foram determinados o teor de C e de N e a distribuição das frações húmicas. O teor de C e N do solo não variou entre os tratamentos, porém a distribuição das SH foi afetada pelo tipo de fertilizante. Em geral a adição de SHs favoreceu o crescimento das plantas nas variáveis estudadas, sendo que o tratamento Growmater Plant®+NPK foi o que mais se destacou.

The use of alternative sources of organic fertilizers have increased considerably in the last decade, aiming to minimize the use of mineral fertilizer. Given that the addition of organic fertilizers may affect the dynamics of soil organic matter (SOM) and the productivity of crops, the main objectives of this work were to evaluate the impact of different sources of soluble humic substances ( HSs ) on the distribution of SOM chemical compartments and their chemical composition in Ultisol and to investigate the effect on the productivity of some vegetables . In Study 1, the chemical composition and distribution of humic acids (HA), fulvic acids and humin, content of SOM and the distribution of Cu, Fe , Cr , Mn and Zn in the SOM compartments were evaluated after the addition of organic compost of swine manure. Three treatments were established: soil without addition of compound (T1), soil with addition of neutral compost (T2) and soil with the addition of acid compost (T3). The SHs were quantified and their chemical composition was determined by FTIR spectroscopy. The addition of organic compost did not affect the soil C content but the SOM distribution in humic compartments. In all treatments CSHs increased until 52 days after addition of fertilizer, however T2 and T3 always showed the greatest values. Similar behaviour was verified with CAF e CAH. At the end of the experiment no difference was observed regarding the distribution of humic fractions between treatments. The concentration of metals was not affected by the addition of fertilizer as well as their concentration in humic fractions CSH and CHCl. Study 2 was conducted in a greenhouse employing SHs from leonardite in different treatments, with and without application of mineral fertilizer (NPK) in cultivation of lettuce and chives during 48 days. Number of leaves, plant diameter and height, root length and fresh and dry weight of roots and shoots in plants were evaluated. The soil C and N contents were determined and the distribution of humic fractions as well. Soil C and N content did not differ among treatments, but the distribution of SH was affected by the type of added fertilizer. In general the addition of fertilizers favored the plant growth as indicated by the evaluated variables. The outstanding effect was shown by the NPK + Growmater Plant® treatment.
