Effective methods of growing seedlings of trees and shrubs in arid conditions | Эффективные приемы выращивания сеянцев деревьев и кустарников в засушливых условиях

Английский. Highly swelling polymer hydrogels (HSPH) and synthetic mulching materials were tested during vegetative reproduction of tree and shrub species (Chaenomeles japonica (Thunb.) Lindl. ex Spach., Gleditsia triacanthos L., Cotinus coggygria Scopp.) in the open ground. Stem and root cuttings were used to propagate the selected gene pool of tree and shrub species. The following variants were compared in the experiment: I – HSPH + film; II – film; III – HSPH; IV – control (no treatment). In the course of the research, it was found that the territory of the experimental site within the nursery was heavily infested with Convolvulus arvensis L., Lactuca tatarica (L.) C. A. Mey.), Amaranthus retroflexus L., Chenopodium album L. The use of a mulching film made it possible to reduce the amount of weeds in Japanese quince crops (4 processing options). The positive effect of the HSPH together with the film on the growth and development of seedlings of Gledichia was revealed: the activity of destruction of cellulose by microflora in the HSPH+ film variant of the experiment was the highest, there was a decrease in the number of weeds (75 plants/m2), the height of an annual seedling reached 42 cm. Soil conditions improved in the crops of scumpia, soil moisture increased (the surface layers retained moisture much better in comparison with other variants of the experiment). The density of the soil under the mulching film was also lower, which facilitated the penetration of the roots of seedlings. In areas with a film in the presence of HSPH, the soil was constantly in an aerated and weed-free state, and with additional moisture, the experimental plants developed well. The use of mulching film and HSPH provided the most superior in growth and yield of planting material comparing with other variants of the experiment.

Проводили испытания сильнонабухающих полимерных гидрогелей (СПГ) и синтетических мульчирующих материалов при вегетативном размножении древесно-кустарниковых пород (айвы японской – Chaenomeles japonica (Thunb.) Lindl. ex Spach., гледичии трехколючковой – Gleditsia triacanthos L., скумпии кожевенной – Cotinus coggygria Scop.) в открытом грунте. Для размножения отобранного генофонда древесно-кустарниковых пород использовали стеблевые и корневые черенки. В опыт сравнивали следующие варианты: I – СПГ + плёнка; II – плёнка; III – СПГ; IV – контроль. Территория опытного участка в питомнике была сильно засорена вьюнком полевым (Convolvulus arvensis L.), молоканом татарским (Lactuca tatarica (L.) C. A. Mey.), амарантом запрокинутым (Amaranthus retroflexus L.), марью белой (Chenopodium album L.). Применение мульчирующей пленки позволило сократить количество сорной растительности в посадках айвы японской. Выявлено положительное влияние гидрогеля совместно с пленкой на рост и развитие сеянцев гледичии трехколючковой: активность разрушения целлюлозы микрофлорой в варианте опыта гель+ пленка была наивысшей, наблюдалось сокращение численности сорняков (75 ш./м2), высота однолетнего сеянца достигала 42 см. В посевах скумпии кожевенной улучшились почвенные условия, повысилась влажность почвы, т.к. поверхностные слои сохраняли влагу гораздо лучше (в сравнении с остальными вариантами опыта). Плотность почвы под мульчирующей пленкой также была ниже, что облегчало проникновение корней сеянцев. На участках с плёнкой в присутствии гелей почва постоянно находилась в аэрируемом и чистом от сорняков состоянии, а при дополнительном увлажнении опытные растения хорошо развивались. Применение мульчирующей пленки и гидрогеля обеспечивало преимущество по росту и выходу посадочного материала по сравнению с другими вариантами опыта.
