Potassium buffering capacities of three soil types of Tenerife Island are studied by PBCKE and PBCKF parameters. High PBCKE values qre assciated to soils with high clay content. PBCKF (slope of the Q/A F or Q/RT In ARK curves at ARK) values are closely related to the potassium labile pools.
