[EN] During the months of October 1972, March 1973, November 1973 and March 1974, four groundfish surveys have been caried out on board of a commercial fishing boat, type otter trawler, in order to calculate the density, measured in number and weight of individuals caught per mile hauled, of several species. The main task has been to know the abundance and distribution of the commercial species. Bib (Trisopterus luscus) was more abundant in depths closed to the 100 m isobath. 83,99% of the individuals were caught in those depths. It seems that there is an increase in the mean weight of the individuals as depth increases. The presence of squid (Todaropsis eblanae) In the flshery is seasonal, and it was abundant in the autumm-winter surveys and scarce in the spring ones. The distribution area for this species was ranging in depths from 150 to 300 m. During the March 1974 and 1975 surveys, curled octopus (Eledone cirrosa) was distributed in depths ranging from 150 and 300 meters. The catches were constituted mainly by adult individuals. In the November 1973 cruise the catches of this species shown that its distribution was comprised in depths from 100 to 300 meters. The catches were constituted mainly by young individuals. Sex determination was not made during those cruises. The recruitment into the fishery for this species (E. cirrosa) seems to take place in Autumn. The 1973 year class was at least twice more abundant than that of 1972

[ES] Durante los meses de octubre de 1972, marzo y noviembre de 1973 y marzo de 1974, se han realizado cuatro campañas a bordo de un buque comercial, armado al arte de arrastre "baca" para calcular la densidad, medida en número y peso de ejemplares capturados por milla de arrastre, de diversas especies. El objetivo principal ha sido conocer la distribución y la abundancia de cada especie comercial. La faneca (Trisopterus luscus) resulta ser más abundante en profundidades próximas a la isobata de los 100 metros, capturándose en ellas el 83,99% de los individuos. Asimismo parece observarse un incremento del peso medio de los individuos en relación a la profundidad. En cuanto a la pota (Todaropsis eblanae), su presencia en la pesquería es estacional, siendo abundante en las campañas de otoño-invierno y escasa en las de primavera. El área de distribución en noviembre de 1973, estaba comprendida entre profundidades de 150 a 300 metros. Durante las campañas de marzo de 1973 y 1974, el pulpo blanco (Eledone cirrosa), la mayoría ejemplares adultos, aparece distribuido en los fondos entre 150 y 300 metros de profundidad. En la campaña de noviembre de 1973 las capturas, constituidas en su mayoría por individuos jóvenes, revelaban que esta especie se distribuía entre los 100 y 300 metros de profundidad. En el presente trabajo no se observaron separadamente los sexos, que parecen tener diferente distribución batimétrica. El reclutamiento a la pesquería del pulpo blanco parece ocurrir en otoño. La clase anual de 1973 resultó ser, por lo menos, unas 2 veces más abundante que la de 1972
