Zootoxins are toxic substances of different chemical nature, produced by animal organisms and used by them for defense or attack. Almost all animal groups have this property. Not many venomous animals live in the Republic of Moldova, but this does not mean that the only representatives do not present a danger, especially to children and agricultural workers. Throughout the world, traditional medicine and homeopathy have long used preparations containing zootoxins. Venom-producing animals, an inseparable part of our nature, must be protected.
