Variación genotípica en rendimiento y calidad de fruto de tomate (solanum lycopersicum l.) en diferentes ambientes

"Para la formación de nuevos genotipos de tomate con adaptación y estabilidad a través de ambientes, se requiere medir su interacción genotipo-ambiente (IGA). Modelos como el de Eberhart y Russell, el de regresión en los sitios (SREG) y el de efectos principales aditivos e interacción multiplicativo (AMMI) se utilizan para el estudio de los patrones de respuesta genotípica a través de ambientes. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar los materiales genéticos más prominentes de tomate, en cuanto a características de rendimiento, contenido nutrimental, estabilidad y resistencia a Phytophthora infestans. El trabajo de investigación se realizó en el año 2016 en la Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro en Saltillo, Coahuila; se evaluaron 21 genotipos de tomate establecidos en tres ambientes (campo abierto, túnel e invernadero). Las variables evaluadas fueron: rendimiento (t ha-1), peso promedio de fruto (g), diámetro ecuatorial y polar (cm), tamaño, pH, grados Brix (%), vitamina C (mg/100 g), licopeno (mg/100 g) y color. También se evaluó la susceptibilidad de los genotipos a Phytophthora infestans, con el área bajo la curva del progreso de la enfermedad. El diseño experimental utilizado fue un diseño de bloques completos al azar, con tres repeticiones. De acuerdo a los datos obtenidos en el análisis de varianza combinado se obtuvieron diferencias (P ≤0.01) para la IGA para rendimiento y para las variables de contenido nutrimental. Los genotipos respondieron favorablemente cuando fueron establecidos en invernadero en comparación con el campo abierto. El genotipo 23 obtuvo el mayor rendimiento con 125 t ha1. Para las variables peso promedio de fruto, diámetro ecuatorial y tamaño, destacó el genotipo 17 con 188.7 g, 7.1 cm, 3.3 (tamaño grande), respectivamente. En las variables pH y grados Brix todos los genotipos cumplieron con lo requerido para considerarse de buen sabor, obteniendo un promedio de 4.5 y 4.4%, respectivamente. Para las variables contenido de licopeno y vitamina C destacaron los genotipos 12 y 16. El modelo Eberhart y Russell no fue apropiado, ya que no se obtuvo ningún genotipo estable, pero se encontró que los genotipos 23 (Y41(Y4xR1)) y 24 (F3 x (45x47)) mostraron adaptabilidad en los tres ambientes. Los genotipos más estables fueron: 5, 18, 26, 2 y 22, según los modelos AMMI 1 y SREG. La línea Y533, la que tuvo una xiii menor incidencia a Phytophthora infestans, por lo que se recomienda utilizarla como progenitor de nuevos híbridos con el fin de proveer resistencia. "
