A 2020 vision for food, agriculture, and the enviroment in Latin America

The nations of Latin America are currently undergoing dramatic economic, political, and social change. The effects on poverty, food, security, and the environment are uncertain, change however, offers opportunity. Latin America now has a historic opportunity to achieve by the year 2020 a vision where income, wealth, and opportunity are more evenly and fairly distributed; and where all citizens enjoy clean, healthfull environment and work together to use and protect the region's natural resources for themselves and for future generations.
