Estimativa de parâmetros genéticos do peso aos 205 dias de animais da raça Nelore criados, extensivamente, no Pantanal.

RESUMO - O Pantanal Mato-Grossense é uma região caracterizada pela sua exuberância de fauna e flora, consideradas como patrimônio da humanidade, onde vivem em harmonia animais silvestres, domésticos e o homem. O objetivo desse trabalho foi estimar os componentes de variância e parâmetros genéticos para animais nascidos no Pantanal, comparando os valores estimados para os animais nascidos no Pantanal do Mato Grosso (P_MT) e Mato Grosso do Sul (P_MS). Os dados avaliados são provenientes da Embrapa Gado e Corte, MS. Confeccionou-se um arquivo geral com pesos ao desmame de animais nascidos em fazendas de todo o Pantanal, depois sub dividiu o mesmo em dois. As analises precederam utilizando o programa MTDFRML, com um modelo estatístico contendo os efeitos aditivos direto do animal, aditivos maternos, os efeitos não correlacionados de vaca; como efeitos fixos de grupo contemporâneo, fazenda e da idade da vaca. A média observada para o peso aos 205 de idade no pantanal foi 168,41 ± 28,78 kg e para o P_MS e P_MT foram 171,54 ± 28,16 kg e 152,56 ± 26,61kg. Os valores das herdabilidades, 0,47 ± 0,05; 0,36 ± 0,05; 0,77 ± 0,15, obtidos respectivamente para o Pantanal, P_MS e P_MT, verificou que os animais criados no Pantanal de Mato Grosso apresentaram maiores valores do coeficiente de herdabilidade. Mesmo o Pantanal sendo uma área inundável de 140.000 km2 de extensão, aparentemente uniforme, há variação no desempenho dos animais, havendo necessidade dentro do possível de se fazer estimativas mais individualizadas para realizar seleção dos animais. Houve grande variação dos valores obtidos para variância genética e para a herdabilidade. A população de bovinos Nelore, criados no Pantanal, revelou uma grande variabilidade genética, com potencial para se realizar seleção e melhoramento. ABSTRACT - The Pantanal Mato-Grossense is a region characterized for its wonderful of fauna and flora, considered as patrimony of the humanity, where they live in harmony animal wild, domestic servants and the man. The objective of this work was esteem the genetic components of variance and parameters for animals born in the Pantanal, comparing the values esteem for the animals born in the Pantanal of the Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso of the South. The evaluated data are proceeding from the Embrapa Beef Cattle, MS. A general archive with weights was confectioned to all weans it of animals born in farms of the Pantanal, later sub it divided the same in two. The analyzes was running using the program MTDFRML, with a statistical model contend the additive direct effect of the animal, maternal additives effects and the uncorrelated effect of dam; as fixed effect of group contemporary, farm and of the age of dam. The average observed for the weight to the 205 of age in the pantanal was 168.41 ± 28.78 and for P_MS and P_MT they had been 171.54 ± 28.16 kg and 152.56 ± 26.61 kg. The values of the herdabilidades, 0.47 ± 0.05; 0.36 ± 0.05; 0.77 ± 0.15, gotten respectively for the Pantanal, P_MS and P_MT, it verified that the animals created in the Pantanal of Mato Grosso have bigger heritability coefficient. Exactly the Pantanal being a subject to flooding area of 140,000 km2 of extension, uniform, it has variation in the performance of the animals, having necessity inside of the possible one of if making individuals estimates to carry through election of the animals. It had great variation of the values gotten for genetic variance and the herdabilidade. The population of Nellore bovines, created in the Pantanal, it show a great variability genetic with potential for do the genetics improvement.
