In the current century, reversing harmful factors and preserving the structure unique to the evolutionary environment of the ecosystem with more natural conservation methods constitute the basis of restoration ecology. For this purpose, the compression strength property, which is one of the technological features, determined by the type of wood and wear variations. In the study, the surface was made corrugated by abrasion (1/2/3 atu) /spraying with sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) and then impregnated at various solution concentrations (%5/7/9) according to ASTM 1413 -76 standard. The highest retention value was determined in spruce wood at 7% concentration and 3 atu (%32.46), the lowest retention was determined in oak wood at %9 concentration and 1 atu (%5.22). The highest compression strength was realized in oak wood (78.67 N/mm2) and the lowest compression strength value was realized in spruce wood (20.37 N/mm2); based on the atu value, 1 atu was determined in oak wood (89.20 N/mm2) in the process, and the lowest 3 atu was determined in spruce wood (17.46 N/mm2). Wood type and abrasion were found to be significant with 0.05 error probability.
