The structure of the aboveground forest phytomass in the forest shelterbelts of the Sverdlovsk railway | Структура надземной фитомассы насаждений в защитных лесных полосах Свердловской железной дороги

Английский. The study of forest shelterbelts along roads is one of the functional tasks of integrated forest monitoring and belongs to the forest eco-engineering field. Forest shelterbelts play a significant role in preserving the environment, have wind-proof value, noise-proof properties and play a snow-retaining, decorative and phytomeliorative role. The data on structure of phytomass in near- railway road forest shelterbelts is necessary because the formation of forest shelterbelts occurs under the influence of specific factors that differ from the growing conditions of natural stands. The purpose of this work was to study the structure of the aboveground phytomass of forests in the shelterbelts along the Sverdlovsk railway. Based on the materials of 9 sample plots established in the roadside shelterbelts, the values of the structure of the aboveground phytomass of larch, pine, birch and poplar were obtained. Average three height here varies from 18 to 30 m. The component composition of phytomass in near-road shelterbelts depends on the species composition and on stand morphological structure and varies as follows: the phytomass of stems is from 88 to 92%, branches – from 7 to 10% and needles (foliage) – from 1 to 3%. With fixed values of age and volume stock, the aboveground phytomass in shelterbelts is 18% higher in relation to the aboveground phytomass of natural forest stands. The ratio of species in the shelterbelts in terms of the amount of aboveground phytomass has been revealed. Pine phytomass is less than larch one by 3%, and birch and poplar phytomass is more than larch one by 17% and 7%, respectively.

Русский. Изучение защитных лесных полос вдоль дорог является одной из функциональных задач комплексного мониторинга лесов и относится к категории лесной экоинженерии. Защитные полосы играют значительную роль в сохранении окружающей среды, имеют ветрозащитное значение, шумозащитные свойства и играют снегозадерживаюшую, декоративную и фитомелиоративную роль. Cведения о структуре фитомассы в прижелезнодорожных лесных полосах необходимы, поскольку формирование защитных лесных полос происходит под влиянием специфических факторов, отличающихся от условий произрастания естественных древостоев. Цель работы - исследование структуры надземной фитомассы насаждений в защитных лесных полосах Свердловской железной дороги. По материалам 9 пробных площадей, заложенных в прижелезнодорожных защитных полосах, получены значения структуры надземной фитомассы лиственницы, сосны, березы и тополя. Средняя высота насаждений в этих полосах варьирует от 18 до 30 м. Долевой фракционный состав фитомассы в прижелезнодорожных защитных полосах зависит от породного состава и морфоструктуры насаждений и варьирует в следующих пределах: фитомасса стволов – от 88 до 92%, ветвей – от 7 до 10% и хвои (листвы) – от 1 до 3%. При фиксированных значениях возраста и запаса надземная фитомасса в защитных полосах на 18% больше по отношению к надземной фитомассе древостоев лесного фонда. Установлено соотношение пород в защитных полосах по величине надземной фитомассы. Фитомасса сосны по отношению к фитомассе лиственницы имеет меньшее значение (–3%), а фитомасса березы и тополя – большее (соответственно +17 и +7%).
