The main aim of the survey and experiment were to elicit consumer willingness to pay (WTP) for different quality grades of maize and beans. The data includes demographic information about the households (e.g., age, and sex), socioeconomics (crop income, household income, value of production and food security) and farm characteristics (e.g., farm size ). The experimental auctions were conducted using the Becker-DeGroot-Marschak method to elicit WTP for the different quality of maize and beans.
