El proyecto productivo de cacao (Theobroma cacao L) se llevó a cabo en el departamento de Nariño, municipio de San Andrés de Tumaco, vereda Imbilpi del Carmen, se centró en llevar un correcto manejo de las plantas de cacao teniendo en cuenta la realización de las prácticas culturales y un correcto plan de manejo de arvense, enfermedades, plagas y fertilización además un manejo adecuado de la cosecha y poscosecha en comparación al manejo tradicional que se le da a las plantas en la vereda esto en cuento a lo agronómico. El problema a resolver es que se ha encontrado una reducción de la producción de cacao en la vereda de Imbilpi del Carmen debido a que no se realiza el debido manejo de las plantaciones como es el caso de la realización de las prácticas culturales como Re-se (recolección semanal de frutos enfermos) , poda y deschuponado; además se presenta un indebido manejo de plagas enfermedades y un incorrecto manejo de cosecha y poscosecha, por esta razón se realizó una investigación cuyos objetivos fueron hacer un diagnóstico de las fincas cacaoteras de la región , determinar cuáles eran las fincas más eficientes en cuanto a las actividades que realizaban, hacer una comparación de las actividades que realizan los agricultores más productivos vs los que menos producen cacao y hacer una comparación de los ingresos económicos teniendo en cuenta las actividades que realizan los agricultores productores de cacao. La metodología de la investigación se dividió en 3 etapas. En la primera se realizó un diagnóstico de los seis agricultores que más producían cacao en la vereda en la segunda etapa se hace una caracterización de los arreglos clonales y de las variedades que se presentaban en sus sistemas productivos, además se le preguntó a los agricultores si realizaban los manejos y las prácticas mencionadas anteriormente y en la etapa tres se hacía la recopilación de información con el fin de poder determinar cuáles eran las fincas más productivas con relación a las actividades que realizaban, Finalmente se hizo la comparación de los ingresos económicos de estos seis productores con el fin de determinar la eficiencia de las actividades que realizan en sus sistemas productivos. Los resultados demostraron que el número de intervenciones (prácticas) está ligada a la producción final y por ende afecta los ingresos económicos. El número de intervenciones de los agricultores que más producen son Braulio Preciado: 5, Tocayo Preciado: 5 y Elson Preciado: 6 y el número de intervenciones de los agricultores que menos producen cacao son Atanasio Rodríguez: 4, Marcial Murciano: 4 y Henrry Ruiz: 4 demostrando así que mientras más se invierta al cultivo para realizar las prácticas culturales y los correctos manejos de plagas enfermedades y arvenses hay una alta probabilidad de tener buena producción y por ende tener buenos ingresos económicos por parte de los sistemas productivos de cacao, en el componente social se trabajó con un grupo juvenil llamado “Descuadrate” donde se tocaban muchos temas de interés para la comunidad como es el caso de violencia intrafamiliar y formación de líderes juveniles y en cuanto al componente de empresarización del campo se tuvo en cuenta todos los ingresos y egresos que se presentaban en el proyecto esto con el fin de poder determinar si el proyecto es viable o inviable.

For this reason, an investigation was conducted with the objectives of making a diagnosis of the cocoa farms in the region, determine which were the most efficient farms in terms of the activities they performed, make a comparison of the activities performed by the most productive farmers vs. those who produce less cocoa and make a comparison of the economic income taking into account the activities carried out by cocoa farmers. The research methodology was divided into 3 stages. In the first stage, a diagnosis was made of the six farmers who produced the most cocoa in the village, and in the second stage a characterization was made of the clonal arrangements and the varieties that were present in their production systems, In addition, the farmers were asked if they carried out the aforementioned management and practices, and in the third stage, information was collected to determine which were the most productive farms in relation to the activities they carried out. Finally, the economic income of these six producers was compared to determine the efficiency of the activities carried out in their production systems. The results showed that the number of interventions (practices) is linked to the final production and therefore affects the economic income.
