Analysis of the Branch Supply on the Example of the Meat Industry in the Republic of Croatia

Every business organization is faced with several important decisions: to choose what and how much to produce and to determine the price. However, there are a number of limitations in the market. Nowadays, companies most often face market, technological and administrative constraints. Therefore, it is necessary to define the market position, i.e. to consider the internal and external market dimensions. Such an analysis provides answers about its own strength, but also looks at the market competition. The aim of this paper was to analyse internal and external indicators through the SPACE matrix on the example of meat producers and to come to a conclusion on which strategy to choose in accordance with the current market position. In order to improve the analysis, this paper show through the research of the branch's business in which direction the company's profit is moving according to the volume of production.
