The production of bioethanol in high volumes for the needs of fuel industry brings about a question of fermentation efficiency increase with the stress laid on slops utilization. The work describes the production of slops from wheat and triticale under laboratory conditions including a multi-phase recycling of the slops. The analysis results of raw materials and finished slops were completed with results of a feed trial made on brown rats, during which the animals were fed with the slops in a dry mash form. The analysis results received showed that during the recycling of the liquid phase, a slight decrease in nitrogenous compounds content, the accumulation of potassium and sodium and, in case of triticale also the accumulation of phosphorus were observed. During recycling, the content of calcium decreased, while the content of magnesium did not change too much. The feed value of the slops was decreasing with the number of recycling cycles. When comparing the feed values of the slops from wheat and triticale, better results were obtained from wheat slops. The production of bioethanol in high volumes for the needs of fuel industry brings about a question of fermentation efficiency increase with the stress laid on slops utilization.
