Essai de culture et analyse fourragère de Panicum maximum dans la région d’Oued Righ

La présente recherche a pour objectif général d’étudier les conditions de production de l’espèce Panicum maximum variété Super Mombaca, son adaptabilité et sa composition chimique dans les conditions édapho-climatique de la région de Oued Righ. Pour atteindre notre objectif nous avons testé l’influence de trois fréquences d’irrigation et deux modes de semis sur les caractères morphologiques et la composition chimique de l’espèce. L’analyse statistique appliqué sur les mesures morphologique a monté une différence significatives entres les fréquences d’irrigation sur la longueur de la feuille les meilleurs résultats sont obtenues par deux irrigation par semaine et sans irrigation. Le plus grand nombre de tige est le résultat de deux irrigations par semaine et aussi par le traitement sans irrigation. Les mesures biométrique montre que la longueur de la feuille est d’ une moyenne de 34,75 cm, la largeur de la feuille est d’une moyenne de 2 ,25 cm et le nombre de tige (Talles) est de 14 ,17 tige. Les résultats relatifs à l’analyse fourragère en pourcentage du poids brute montre que la teneur en matière sèche varie entre 21,72 % et 33,17 % , la teneur en matière organique varie entre 83,10 % et 86,97 % , la teneur en matière minérale varie entre 13,03 % et 16,90 % , la teneur en cellulose varie entre 23,10 % et 35,10 %. Malgré la courte période de notre travail expérimentale (5 mois), sur la possibilité d’adaptabilité du Panicum les résultats à ce stade sont encourageants. L’étude du suivi de culture doit être continué sur plusieurs années pour tirer des conclusion finales

The general objective of this research is to study the production conditions of the species Panicum maximum variety Super Mombaca, its adaptability and its chemical composition under the edapho-climatic conditions of the Oued Righ region. To achieve our goal we tested the influence of three irrigation frequencies and two sowing methods on the morphological characters and chemical composition of the species. The statistical analysis applied to the morphological measurements showed a significant difference between the irrigation frequencies over the length of the leaf; the best results are obtained with two irrigation per week and without irrigation. The higher number of stems is the result of two irrigations per week and also by the treatment without irrigation. Biometric measurements show that the leaf length is an average of 34.75 cm, the leaf width is an average of 2.25 cm and the number of stems (Talles) is 14.17 stems. . The results relating to the forage analysis as a percentage of the gross weight show that the dry matter content varies between 21.72% and 33.17%, the organic matter content varies between 83.10% and 86.97%, mineral content varies between 13.03% and 16.90%, the cellulose content varies between 23.10% and 35.10%. Despite the short period of our experimental work (5 months), on the possibility of adaptability of Panicum the results at this stage are encouraging. The study of culture monitoring must be continued over several years to draw final conclusions
