This paper investigates the cultural heritage of Budva's Old Town and its role in promoting sustainable tourism, which aligns with the broader goals of modern economy and society through the lens of sustainable development. As the global economy shifts towards sustainability, the preservation and promotion of cultural assets become critical not only for tourism but also for fostering community involvement and long-term economic resilience. By applying benchmarking and comparative analysis with Dubrovnik, the study explores the financial, operational, and managerial aspects of cultural heritage valorization, highlighting Budva's potential to embrace the principles of sustainable development.
