Evaluación del carbón vegetal obtenido a partir de residuos maderables de pino

Английский. The objective of the work is to evaluate the obtained charcoal starting from wood-derived wastes and industrial so that it facilitates to give a productive use to the waste. The characteristics of the obtained charcoal of wood-derived wastes coming from pruning areas are presented and of the industry of the species Pinus caribaea Morelet Barri and Golfari (var. caribaea), Pinus tropicalis Morelet and a mixture of both species by means of the employment of metallic ovens and traditional oven. It is carried out the characterization of the end product according to the established norms and the obtained parameters are compared with the literature. It was found that the analyzed charcoal present good quality, for what they can be employees as much for domestic use as in the industry. It was proven that it is possible the use of the metallic oven for the carbonization of pruning wastes and sawmill, since is an efficient operation from the point of view of the yield of charcoal and of the humanization of the work. It also presents advantages in relation to the traditional oven in the related with technical, social, economic and environmental functions.

El objetivo del trabajo es evaluar el carbón vegetal obtenido a partir de residuos maderables de copa e industriales de manera que posibilite dar un uso productivo a los desechos. Se presentan las características del carbón vegetal derivado de residuos maderables procedentes de áreas de tala y de la industria de las especies Pinus caribaea Morelet Barri y Golfari (var. caribaea), Pinus tropicalis Morelet y una mezcla de ambas especies mediante el empleo de hornos metálicos y horno tradicional. Se realiza la caracterización del producto final según las normas establecidas y se comparan los parámetros obtenidos con la literatura. Se encontró que los carbones analizados presentan buena calidad, por lo que pueden ser empleados tanto para uso doméstico como en la industria. Se comprobó que es posible la utilización del horno metálico para la carbonización de residuos de tala y aserradero, ya que resulta una operación eficiente desde el punto de vista del rendimiento de carbón y de la humanización del trabajo. Presenta además ventajas con el horno tradicional en lo relacionado con funciones técnicas, sociales, económicas y ambientales.
